The novel’s title refers to the song “All around the town” that the protagonist feels come from a music box in his period of kidnapping, but also an ambiguous meaning because as we said, people who suffer from DDPM (Multiple Personality Disorder ) are not always aware of their actions and go “around the city” unconscious and lost.

The phenomenon of multiple personality has always fascinated and frightened me, the idea that a person can “host” various and numerous individuality (from two to twelve doctors say), of which the main one is usuallyunaware of the others, it is disturbing and at the same time a great artistic resource.

By playwriter the idea of writing a character that has within it different personalities is tempting and for an actor would be an incredible challenge, play twelve roles in one, can you image?

But whereas for writers or poets it can be a creative inspiration, at the same time we must not forget that it is a serious disease!

Il fenomeno della personalità multipla[2]mi ha sempre affascinato e spaventato, l’idea che una persona possa “ospitare” diverse e numerose individualità (dalle due alle dodici dicono i medici), di cui la principale è solitamente ignara delle altre, è inquietante e allo stesso tempo una grandissima risorsa artistica.

Da drammaturgo l’idea di scrivere un personaggio che ha in sé diverse personalità è allettante e per un attore sarebbe una sfida incredibile, fare dodici ruoli in uno, ci pensate?

Ho sempre detestato le definizioni. Ogni essere umano per me è un mondo, una tavolozza di tutti i colori con tutte le loro infinite possibilità di combinazione. Per me non basta una vita per conoscere una persona, e la cosa più bella è scoprirla giorno dopo giorno, non aspettarsi nulla e accogliere quello che ti dà.

Ho sempre storto il naso quando qualcuno ha commentato: Tu sei così.. tu sei cosà.. pronunciando qualche aggettivo che delimitasse in qualche modo il mio essere. Paradossalmente, la maggior parte delle volte, è proprio chi mi capita di conoscere da poco tempo che si esibisce nella performance: “Sabrina è così”.

Deo gratia, non sono giudizi negativi, ma spesso puntano il dito verso il mio lato più giocoso ed estroverso. È che la mia mente, a volte, fa certi guizzi che starmi dietro diventa un po’ complicato. Ci posso…

It might be because of the replication on Paramount Channel or because ofthe reunion the cast made a few days ago about the presidential debate, it might be because it remains one of my favourite shows, despite the years and the ending a bit sad … I don’t know but I felt the  need to reviewWill & Grace, the sitcom transmit on the screens of the NBC from 1998 to May 2006 that was the first so openly speaking about homosexuality. A theme that still seems ablaze, despite the past ten years from the closing of the show. I have always been shocked about homophobia, I just can not understand it and I find it ridiculous and inappropriate. Love is love. It’s complicated, necessary, weird, silly, but it is love. Sarà perché ultimamente lo ridanno in replica su Paramount Channel, sarà per la reunion fatta qualche giorno fa in procinto del dibattito presidenziale, sarà perché nonostante gli anni e il finale un po’ triste rimane uno dei miei show preferiti… ma mi è venuta una voglia matta di rivedere tuttoWill & Grace, la sit-com trasmessa sugli schermi della NBC dal 1998 al maggio del 2006 che è stata la prima ad affrontare così apertamente il tema dell’omosessualità. Un tema che sembra tutt’ora scottante nonostante siano passati dieci anni dalla chiusura dello show. Mi perplime sempre l’omofobia, non riesco proprio a capirla e la trovo assurda e fuori luogo. L’amore è amore.È complicato, necessario, bizzarro, assurdo, ma è amore. Punto.

Addirittura il vicepresidente degli Stati Uniti Joe Biden ha riconosciuto in un’intervista il ruolo fondamentale che “Will & Grace” ha avuto nel favorire l’accettazione della comunità…

Septemberis a strange month, it is the ninth of the calendar year, however, it is a month of beginning. The school starts in September, the work after the holidays starts again in September, the new projects, the diets, the sport, the exams, the medical visits, the tv series! Everything seems to have entered forcefully in this month of thirty days in which we say goodbye to the Summer and we must resign ourselves about the shortening of the days.

I never liked September.

In questi giorni sto leggendo (ve ne dirò di più a breve) un libro di un’autrice che si è evidentemente ispirata a questo tipo di narrazione, e che continuo a trovare davvero coinvolgente!!

Pochi personaggi ma tutti narratori…. Intrigante.

Settembreè un mese strano, è il nono dell’anno solare tuttavia è un mese di inizio.

La scuola inizia in Settembre, il lavoro dopo le ferie ricomincia a Settembre, i nuovi progetti, le diete, lo sport, gli esami, le visite mediche, le serie tv!

Tutto sembra essersi infilato a forza in questo mese di trenta giorni in cui si dice arrivederci all’Estate e ci si rassegna all’accorciarsi delle giornate.

Non mi è mai piaciuto Settembre.

Mi è sempre sembrato un mese-trabochetto: piove col sole, non si sa come vestirsi, tutte le mete vacanziere costano meno ma non si ha il tempo di andarci, dà speranze e poi se le riprende subito.

“Chicken Wings, Friendzone And Friends”

he only reflection that I would add to what I already said, is to use it as a remedy “against the Autumn”, the season of swings mood and climate change, the commitments that start accumulating and the first colds. Despite the twenty years after the first episode, it remains one of the most ingenious and modern serial products of the tv program. A therapy, a breath of fresh air, some laughter in these obscure times.

Tabasco chicken wings accompanied by Aioli Sauce.
(The recipe is from my friend, Anna)

Ingredients (for 4 people Aioli Sauce):
– 4 cloves garlic
– 1 tablespoon of filtered lemon juice
– Ground white pepper
– 3 Egg yolks, one of which is hard.
– Salt to taste.
– Oil

(chicken wings)
– 16 chicken wings.
– 2 cloves garlic
– 3/4 drops of tabasco
– 50 grams of grated Parmesan cheese
– 100g of breadcrumbs
– 100 ml of oil
– Salt and Pepper To Taste.

Aioli sauce Procedure:

In a mortar join the cloves of minced garlic with the salt and beat very well, we put all in a mixer by adding fresh and whisk yolks; we add the oil until it will not create a thick cream. Add a tablespoon of lemon juice and egg yolk, we have previously prepared crumbled…
