“COLD CASE: Nobody can escape the past”

Lilly Rush (Kathryn Morris – In the mind of the serial killer) is a young detective on the Philadelphia homicide squad; after having demonstrated great skills in solving a crime that had remained unsolved for many years, he decides to accept the proposal of his captain to enter the cold case section, which specializes in investigating crimes that have remained pending for many years and of which the perpetrators do not they still have neither face nor name. Each episode is dedicated to a different case: the episodes begin with a flashback set in the year in which the crime took place.

A few summers ago, before streaming and series on the internet, there were reruns on TV, and I’m not talking about the Jurassic, but from the early 2000s. Very rarely did some new product arrive, punctually blasted at absurd times of absurd days in the height of summer, which I always wondered if they were bettors or simply self-sabotaged on purpose.

Why do you have to explain to me why TV series like Friends, Ally McBeal or ER (I MEAN E.R. !!!!), were put on in August at 2.00pm!

“COLD CASE: al Passato non si sfugge mai!”

Lilly Rush (Kathryn Morris – Nella mente del serial killer) è una giovane detective della squadra omicidi di Philadelphia; dopo aver dimostrato grandi capacità nella risoluzione di un crimine che era rimasto irrisolto per molti anni, decide di accettare la proposta del suo capitano di entrare nella sezione cold case, specializzata nelle indagini su crimini rimasti per molti anni in sospeso e dei quali i colpevoli non hanno ancora né volto né nome. Ogni puntata è dedicata a un caso diverso: gli episodi iniziano con un flashback ambientato nell’anno in cui ha avuto luogo il crimine.

Qualche estate fa, prima dello streaming e delle serie su internet, c’erano le repliche in tv, e non parlo del giurassico eh, ma dei primi anni Duemila. Rarissimamente arrivava qualche prodotto nuovo, puntualmente spiattellato in orari assurdi di giorni assurdi in piena estate, che mi sono sempre chiesta se fossero degli scommettitori o semplicemente si auto-sabotassero apposta.

Perché dovete spiegarmi come mai serie tv come Friends, Ally McBeal o ;ER (VOGLIO DIRE E.R.!!!!), siano state messe in agosto alle 14.00! Ma chi non lavora sta al mare, in montagna o dorme!

Stessa sorte capitò ad una serie tv che mi appassionò tantissimo, iniziata con i miei nelle pause pranzo dalla spiaggia nell’estate del 2006; non ricordo nemmeno dove fossimo e come mai siamo andati in vacanza tutti insieme, ma ricordo perfettamente che le atmosfere, i casi, la musica e i colori di COLD CASE ci strinsero tutti al…
