“IZombie, Fried Brain and … lots of laughs!”

I recommend you watch it with friends because the life of Liv and her groups is full of adventures to comment on, starting with my favorite part: every time she eats a brain, she takes on the personality of its previous owner. So, we will see her serious and studious, or alcoholic, or brazen or shy. And these sudden personality changes take the narrative to a level of great performance for actress Rose McIver and pure enjoyment for the viewer.

Since I have Netflix, I have started to diverge a lot in the choice of TV series, if with generalist TV I was in fact a bit forced to choose between teen drama and crime, now I have any genre at my disposal.

So, while the infernal heat was imminent since June, I looked for something different, funny but also with a good plot, and with a length that was not excessive (like GOT“Power, Seduction, Wine… other Wiiiine!!!”) but not even minimal (like New Girl).

So, I saw the iZombie icon by chance, and I must say I was very skeptical. The zombie stories are not exactly my favorite ones, because they tend to duplication and refer to each other, so watched one, watched all! “iZombie, Cervello fritto e…tante risate!”

Vi consiglio di guardarlo in compagnia perché la vita di Liv e dei suoi amici è ricca di avventure da commentare, a partire dalla mia parte preferita: lei che ogni volta che mangia un cervello assume la personalità del suo precedente proprietario. Perciò la vedremo seriosa e studiosa, oppure alcolista, o sfacciata oppure timida. E questi repentini cambi di individualità, porta la narrazione a un livello di grande performance per l’attrice Rose McIver e di puro divertimento per lo spettatore

Da quando ho Netflix ho cominciato a variare molto nella scelta di serie tv, se con la tv generalista infatti ero un po’ obbligata a scegliere fra teen drama e crime, adesso ho a mia disposizione qualsivoglia genere.

Così, mentre il caldo infernale si affacciava fin da giugno, ho cercato qualcosa di diverso, di divertente ma che avesse anche una trama, e con una durata non eccessiva (tipo GOT) ma nemmeno minima (tipo New Girl).

Così sono capitata per caso sull’icona di iZombie, e devo dire che ero molto scettica. Le storie di zombie non sono esattamente le mie favorite, perché tendono a ripetersi e richiamarsi l’una con l’altra, per cui vista una, viste tutte!
